     In a nutshell, the brain generates electrical signals which are indicative of brain activity. Like all electricity, these signals can be measured in terms of frequency and power output in what is commonly known as an electroencephalagram (EEG). When the brain is not functioning optimally, the electrical patterns of the brain change and with this change undesirable symptoms and conditions can appear. Neurofeedback targets the electrical activity of the brain and gives you a way to gently train your brain toward optimal functioning.
